Hi - Would you recommend a) two connecting pop century rooms or b) one contemporary room We are a family of 5 kids ages 8, 6 and 2. The difference is 500. Thanks.

Hi Katherine!  I have to smile as your question reminds me of my own family!  We have asked this question several times over the years.  We usually end up going with the Contemporary but there are times when we will choose Pop Century or another value.  Here are some of the questions I would ask in your situation.

    - is the Contemporary within your budget?
    - if you stayed at Pop, would that allow you to experience more fun things (special event, dining, etc.)?
    - will the 2 year old need to go to bed/nap earlier than the other children/adults?
    - if so, would the 2 year old be able to sleep in the same room with others?
    - is having 2 bathrooms important?
    - how important is the monorail access and the convenience to being at Magic Kingdom's front gates?

I think once you weigh the pros and cons, you'll have your answer.  My feeling is, if the kids will be able to sleep in one room and you can swing it in the budget, give the Contemporary a try!  I think you will enjoy the convenience of being so close to Magic Kingdom and Epcot is just a monorail transfer away.

Good luck with your decision!  Diane  :)
