Hi, what would you recommend for transportation from LA airport to Disneyland? What would be cheapest? I’m not getting a rental until we check out from Disney? Thank you!!

Hi, Krystal! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

You’ll be delighted to know that you have many options when it comes to traveling from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the Disneyland Resort. If you’ll be traveling with little ones and don’t want the hassle of bringing your own car seats, then you might want to opt for the Disneyland Resort Express. This bus is operated by a third-party company, but is the official charter bus servicing the Disneyland Resort. It has routes from both LAX and John Wayne Airport and delivers Guests to the three Disneyland Resort Hotels and select Good Neighbor Hotels on a set schedule. There is a fee to ride and reservations can be made in advance (Google “Disneyland Resort Express”) for either one-way or round-trip tickets. One-way travel from LAX is currently $30 per adult and $9 per child ages 3 to 11 and no car seats are needed for children.

Other transportation options include taxis, car services, ride share services like Lyft or Uber, other airport shuttles, or using public transportation. Some car services available in the Southern California area provide car seats and boosters if you need them and some even include a stop at a grocery store on the way to your destination. In my experience, using a ride share gets me to the parks the fastest and is usually the least expensive. However, you will want to be sure to compare fees by calculating fares for your flight arrival time and taking into consideration traffic from Los Angeles to Anaheim.

I hope this helps. Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
