Would you recommend Spirit of Aloha Dinner show or Hoop-Dee-Doo review for a 2.5 and 4 year old?

    Andrea:

As much as I find it entertaining and in some cases spell-binding, I would not take a small child--especially for the later show. Keep in mind, though, that there are parents who do take their children and they are welcome.

Although the dinner offers yummy fare that I think any child would enjoy, and the show spotlights some fantastic dancers--including one who twirls fire--my 5-year-old fell asleep after the program began. The program is not as short as the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and even got a little long for me. While entertaining, there is a story line that stretches it out for some attention spans. Asking children to sit that long, even for a lively show, is not what I would recommend.

I'd consider Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Chef Mickey's.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
