What do you recommend for me to use at the parks rather than a purse? Also what do you recommend for footwear? I will be coming to WDW in late November - early December 2017, any specific clothing recommendations? Thank you so much!

    Hi Lucinda!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with these great questions!

My family travels to Walt Disney World Resort at the end of November or early December nearly every year. It's a great time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth! In general, the weather is typically lovely, with warm temperatures in the day and "sweater weather" in the evening. Specifically, the average high temperature for that time of year is in the low to mid 70s while the average low temperature is in the low 50s. That said, Orlando weather in November and December can be quite variable. We've had some pretty chilly weather as well as summer-like temperatures, so you will want to check the forecast about a week before your trip to confirm. Regarding clothing, I like to wear capris or shorts with short-sleeve shirts during the day and long-sleeve shirts with jeans or pants in the evening. You should always pack a sweater or sweatshirt for evening. I also like to purchase ponchos from a discount store before traveling to have on hand in case of a passing storm. Instead of a purse, I like to carry a backpack like this one so that my hands are free. In terms of footwear, I opt for tennis shoes or comfortable sandals that fit securely. You'll be doing a lot of walking, so comfort is key!

As you continue to plan your vacation, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and updates. I hope this helps answer your questions, Lucinda! Please stop back and let me know if you have any other questions about your visit!

    Wishing you many magical memories!
