Where do you recommend our first character dining experience and how do we go about making reservations?

Our family likes to go to Chef Mickey's on the night of our arrival. After a long day of traveling (unless you are lucky enough to live near the Mouse's House!), we like to settle in to our resort and then venture over to the Contemporary Resort at dinner time.

Chef Mickey knows how to throw a party and it's a great way to welcome your family to the magic of WDW. The buffet offers a variety of food and a kid buffet pleases kid and adult picky eaters. Yes, I always snag a slice of pizza!

Best of all, everyone gets to meet the Mouse right away!

And you don't need to use a precious day of your Magic Your Way ticket. After dinner, stroll through the shops and then take a round trip ride on the monorail.

For Advance Dining Reservations, call 407-WDW-DINE. Later this year, Disney will be unveiling a new online reservation system. I can't wait! Until then, call the folks at Disney Dining.
