Would you recommend doing MK during the day, the same day as the Not So Scary party, or should we do a different park that day? I hate to rely on early entry, in case they aren't allowing it. Thanks!

Hi Cristy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are just days away from attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and I am thrilled for you! I had the opportunity to go to the party twice this year and I loved it both times. My favorite part of the entire event is when the Headless Horseman rides through the streets before Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade. Make sure to have your camera ready to capture this spook-tacular moment!

The first time I attended Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year was with my family. We decided to be at Magic Kingdom Park right when it opened and spend the morning there, then head back to our Disney Resort hotel for some rest in preparation of the party's late night, then we went back to Magic Kingdom Park and entered at 4:00 p.m. with our special event party tickets. It was a great plan for us to get in all of the attractions we wanted to see both during the day and during the party. Although early admittance isn't guaranteed since the party technically begins at 7:00 p.m., both of my visits this year have been at 4:00 p.m. with my party tickets. There were already Cast Members available to give Guests their wristbands for the event and we even received our trick-or-treat bags and first "treat" after we entered the theme park early!

Whether you decide to visit Magic Kingdom Park earlier in the day like we did or decide to visit another theme park instead, I know you will have a wonderful day, Cristy! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
