What would you recommend for dining options for a 7 and 4 year old girls at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom?

    Hi Rita,

Here are my top picks for kids approximately your girls' ages in both parks you requested:

Hollywood Studios-  Sci Fi Dine In Theater is set up like an old-fashioned drive in, where you and your clan will sit in a convertible and watch old sci-fi films and clips.  (Don't worry, the movies are not at all scary, most are hilarious, and there cartoons too.)  My kids love the idea of sitting in a car to eat.  If either of your girls is a Playhouse Disney fan, I highly recommend Play n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine for their character breakfast or lunch.  Leo and June from the Little Einsteins, and JoJo, Goliath, along with some talented Cast Members entertain your kids with their Playhouse Disney favorites (including the "Hot Dog Song" from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse).  The 50s Prime Time Cafe is another fun option, where you sit in a 1950s-style kitchen and "mom" (aka your server) insists that you finish your vegetables before you move onto dessert.  Some of the humor might be lost on your little one here, but it's definitely fun.

At the Animal Kingdom, our favorites are the Rainforest Cafe and Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant.  Rainforest Cafe is an elaborately themed "jungle", where, while you dine the weather changes as you listen to the sounds of the jungle, including monkeys, birds and elephants.  The menu is elaborate.  It has a great children's selection as well as tons of options for adults.  If you will be at the park during breakfast and have Donald fans in your clan, the Tusker house is a great place to start your day.

Hopefully, some of my suggestions will help you plan your day at these two parks.  If you'd like additional information on the restaurants I suggested or any others, click HERE and you can search the Disney Dining site by specific park, type of food and/or price range.  Have a great trip!
