Hello, I recently read that the doors on the concierge level are not magnetic, I have purchased several magnets, any idea of how I can display them. Thank you advance

    Ahoy, Monique!

Our family sailed in a Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah back in 2011 on the beautiful Disney Dream. The Concierge team was so amazing, and they made our cruise extra special.

When you are sailing in a Concierge stateroom on the Disney Fantasy or Disney Dream, the doors have a gorgeous wood veneer over the metal door. This makes the concierge doors much less magnetic, and you would need super strong magnets in order to get things to stick to them. If you head to a craft store,  you should be able to purchase a package of heavy duty magnets and then you can glue them to the backs of your current magnets, this might keep them on your stateroom door.

However, inside your stateroom, the bathroom doors and the inside of your stateroom door are still metal and are highly magnetic. So, your magnets will stick to those for sure. I know this is not the ideal situation, and I love to decorate my door as well.

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and I hope this helps with your cruise planning. Please come back and visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask more cruise questions as they arise.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
