    Kerry from NY Asked

I recently purchased my families tickets from my union at work. However I heard that I won't be able to make fastpass+ reservations unless I have a Magic Band. Do you need a magic band or can you use the number on the back of the ticket? sorry so confused.

    Kerry:

The number on the back of your ticket is your "Key to the Kingdom." Once you've created an account at www.disneyworld.com, you should be able to link your tickets to your account under the very conspicuous MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE heading, enabling you to make FastPass+ reservations. Just scroll down to "My Reservations and Tickets' under "Plan and Manage." From there, you'll find step-by-step instructions on where to find the ticket numbers on your specific ticket and how to add them to your account. Once your tickets are entered and you assign them to your family members, you're ready to make FastPass+ selections once you are 60 days out from your arrival date (if you're staying on property) or 30 days out (if you are staying off-property). Again, step-by-step directions will guide you through making FP+ selections under the MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE header.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
