We recently purchased an annual pass as we plan to visit at least 2 times in the next year. We are planning one trip in late August. If Disney offers the free dining plan again would we be eligable to participate as we would not purchase park tickets?

    Hi Robert!

We almost always purchase Annual Passes as well, since we travel to "the World" at least two times per year, and get a wonderful discount as Disney Vacation Club Members.  In the past, when Disney has offered the free dining promotion during the late summer into the fall, you had to purchase a room and park ticket package to be eligible for free dining.  I would suspect, that this would be the case if this promotion was offered again.  Another possibility for fantastic discounts on meals, however, is the "Tables In Wonderland" Dining Discount Program (formerly known as "the Disney Dining Experience).  This program is available to Florida residents and annual pass holders.  For $60 (as an AP holder), you are eligible for a 20% discount on food and beverages, including wine (yes, wine!) in many Disney restaurants.  It also provides for free valet parking at Disney Resorts when dining there.  We participate in this program, and have saved a ton on dining.  If you are interested in this program, call (407) 566-5858 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EST.

Continue to check for current promotions and packages that suite your budget.  Currently, Disney is offering a "buy four, get three free"  promotion for many nights through August 15th.  I'm guessing promotions for the late summer and fall are on their way as well.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
