Hi! I recently learned about the activity to make tie-dyed Mickey tshirts. I can't find any mention of it being offered at Coronado Springs, where we'll be staying. Is it possible to take part in the activity at a resort you aren't staying at?

Hey Sheila! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I see that you'll be arriving in December for your vacation. It's my very favorite month to visit. The Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resort Hotels are decorated so beautifully, you are going to love it.

I'm excited to see that you are interested in tie-dying Mickey shirts during your Walt Disney World vacation. My daughter and I have participated in this activity and it's so fun. They have a great system in place and our shirts turned out really well. Typically, this takes place during a resort's pool party hours. Since technically, there is no "pool hopping" from resort pool to resort pool, if your resort isn't offering it you wouldn't be able to participate. However, I've noticed that most Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are offering the tie-dying fun several times throughout the week. The weekly schedule is usually posted by the main lifeguard station at the pool. When you arrive, I'd head out there to check out your resort's pool party events so you can plan your days accordingly. You can also find out your resort's recreational activities for the week by stopping by and chatting with your resort's lobby concierge

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
