I recently got engaged to a wonderful man and we immediately knew that we wanted to honeymoon at WDW! We want to splurge and stay at a deluxe resort which we narrowed down to the Contemporary and Polynesian. Is one better for a honeymoon for 25 yr olds?

    Congratulations on your engagement!

I'm excited to hear about your choice of honeymoon destinations as my husband and I also honeymooned at Walt Disney World.

If you like modern furnishings, a bustling atmosphere with great restaurants and stores, then the Contemporary Resort might be your hotel. With a splurge on a theme park view, you would see the fireworks from your balcony. This resort is also an easy stroll from the Magic Kingdom.

I would recommend the Polynesian Resort. The Contemporary Resort has a convention center, thus many guests are there on business. Guests dressed for work can be distracting when trying to leave the real world behind you.

The Polynesian Resort is very romantic. It has large rooms overlooking lush tropical scenery. The torchlit paths leading to beach areas with hammocks beckon honeymooners on evening strolls.

One of my favorite memories of the Polynesian is the evening that we watched the Magic Kingdom's fireworks while swimming in the pool.

A walk out to Sunset Pointe offers an inspiring view of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella's Castle.

The walkway between the Polynesian and Grand Floridian is charming, especially at night. I've walked this path countless times with my husband. I hope your honeymoon is magical and memorable!

There are lots of True Love celebration ideas for newlyweds visiting WDW.
