Hi Moms! I recently got engaged and we are planning a disney honeymoon!! We have never been before and we couldn't be more excited OR OVERWHELMED! My question is where do I begin?? We want a fun and special honeymoon, but will be on a budget. Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer!

First of all CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming nuptials! Please don't feel overwhelmed or stressed by the idea of planning your first Disney vacation. The Walt Disney World Moms Panel is always here to help! So, relax! It's more than possible to have a fabulous trip while working within a budget. There are plenty of free or inexpensive romantic activities for the two of you to enjoy together as you celebrate your love for one another.

I'd recommend that you start by looking at some Honeymoon Ideas specially put together by Disney's Fairy Tale Honeymoons. You'll find options for luxury, moderate and value levels of Disney resort hotels along with some fun ideas for newly wedded bliss in each category!

Next, stop by this link to Honeymoon Wishes for examples on how to create a honeymoon registry that allows your friends and family to gift you exciting vacation experiences, theme parks tickets and nightly accommodations! I'm envisioning a side-by-side couples massage spa gift certificate instead of another china place setting or toaster.

Lastly, be sure to check out this link to the Disney Store online for special bride and groom t-shirts and those iconic Mickey and Minnie Mouse Newlywed Ear Hats for the two of you to wear during your trip.

Sending much pixie dust your way for a very happily ever after story for you both!
