Hi I have received our park tickets for March this year and have activated them on My Disney Experience but I'm now worried that by activating them I have started the 14 day countdown. Is this correct or is the activation just so you can make reservations?

Hello Emma and thanks for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Isn't it a magical moment when those much longed for Disney Theme Park tickets finally arrive?  For me, it really does make my jolly holiday to Walt Disney World Resort seem oh so much closer.
Firstly, please don't worry!  Ultimate Tickets will begin their countdown to expiry only after their first use at a Disney Theme Park.
When Guests link Disney Theme Park Tickets or Passes to their My Disney Experience it simply allows the Guest to start making those all important FastPass+ selections.
If I can sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your fast approaching holiday next month to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
