We just received our Magic bands. My son wants to switch with me now because he changed his mind about his color. Can we switch? All our FP+ & dining reservations are the same. I wasn't sure if there was anything different linked to an adult band. Th

    Hello Ashlee,

MagicBands are specifically customized for each Guest and as a result are not transferable. The first day you enter a Walt Disney World theme park, Guests are asked to touch their MagicBand to a touch point and then scan your finger. This, alone, make the MagicBand yours and yours alone. Charging privileges are permitted on MagicBands for Guests, staying at a Walt Disney World resort, along with private PIN numbers, only the Guest knows. Along with FastPass+ selections and other entitlements this could become tricky and confusing.

My advice to you, is consider allowing your son to make his MagicBand show his DisneySide. MagicBands can be customized with MagicBandits and MagicSliders, all of these can be purchased online or at many, many locations around the Walt Disney World resort. Or, do a search on the internet for "coverbands for MagicBands." These are stickers customized to be laid over your MagicBand and changes the appearance, or in this case color, of the MagicBand. Another fun option, is do a search about decorating MagicBands. These bracelets are pretty resistible to wear and tear and Guests have come up with some magical ideas on decorating them.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
