We have received complimentary tickets and I am wanting to know if I need to connect them to myDisney account before arriving. Thanks

    Hi Phaedra,

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah! You have complimentary tickets to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!? What a blessing! You and your family are going to have a BLAST!

I would definitely recommend linking your tickets to your My Disney Experience account before you arrive for your vacation. All you need to do is enter your Will Call Number or the Ticket ID found on the back of each ticket at the "Link Tickets or Passes" page. As long as you have valid tickets or an annual pass connected to your account, you'll be able to take advantage of the complimentary FastPass+ service ahead of time and schedule three attractions per day to bypass the standby line! This great service will help you experience much shorter wait times and allow you to enjoy even more magic around the theme parks. You'll be able to make FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your arrival if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel and 30 days ahead of time if you're staying elsewhere.

If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll receive complimentary MagicBands for your visit, which function as your theme park ticket, your admission for your FastPass+ selections, your room key, and more! If you're not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may purchase MagicBands if you'd like either online or once you arrive. As a mom of five, I've found them to be super convenient, and they make for a fun souvenir, too!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Phaedra! I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
