    Summer from ON Asked

I would really like my two sons (ages 4 and 7) to be picked to be trainees in the Jedi Academy Show at Hollywood Studios when we go in January. I have read conflicting advice; can we sign up when the park opens, or are children chosen from the audience?

Hi, Summer! The advice that you read was probably current for the time it was written.  The way participants for this experience are chosen has changed several times over the years.  Currently, you can sign them up first thing that morning.  Approximately 15 Padawan participants can register for each show.  When you first arrive at the theme park, look for the signs to take you to the registration location, and if you don't readily see it, just ask a Cast Member where to find it.  All sign-ups start at park opening, so get there early to be sure you get a spot for one of the shows during the day! The experience itself is next to the Star Tours attraction, but sign-up's are usually located near the Sounds Dangerous attraction.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
