Hi! What are some really fun and special things to book ahead of time for our upcoming trip to Disneyland Resort in December? We are travelling with Mum, Grandma, and two kids (9 and 3). Thank you!

    Hello there, Erin!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to make your journey to the Happiest Place on Earth. I'm so glad you are eagerly planning for your vacation so that you can experience as much magic as possible.

My first bit of advice is to download the official Disneyland app. This is your one-stop-shop for all things Disneyland Resort. From home you can use this app to study park maps, make dining reservations, and familiarize yourself with attractions. Once you are in the parks, you can use this same app to see attraction wait times, locate the nearest restroom, make FASTPASS selections with Disney MaxPass, and even mobile order food from select Quick Service restaurants.

You can make dining reservations at the Disneyland Resort up to 60 days in advance, but you should definitely start narrowing down your choices before then if you want the best chance of getting the reservations you would like. Apart from the standard Table Service Restaurants that require reservations, I suggest researching the unique Character Dining options and Dining Packages with preferred seating for select entertainment offerings.

Another great experience that you can book in advance for your children is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Here your little ones can be transformed into royalty. There are Princess and Knight options so that boys and girls can be a part of this magical experience with a Fairy Godmother-in-training.

I hope this helps, and please feel free to return if you have any other questions. Have a Fantasmic day!
