    Really want to have our first trip to Disneyworld. There are so mzny choices for everything it is overwhelming. What are the best things to do for first time park visitor. Also, how do I learn about the different resorts so I know which one to choose?

    Patricia,

    You have come to the right place!

    So I would suggest that you do the following;

    1. Set a budget for your trip. You won't know all the costs up front item by item, but if you know what your total cannot exceed, it will help in overall planning.
    2. Pick a time and resort. Know when in the year you can come, and then work with a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner (no-fee, of course!), to get options in each resort category. Have them include park tickets, and basically pick a Deluxe, Moderate, and Value resort that you think you would like most, by class. Then ask them to price each out. This will help you figure out what resort is going to work best in your budget.
    3. Plan your parks. Once you know your dates, write us back with info on your party, and trip, and we can help what parks to go to on what days.
    4. Plan your meals. Figure out what you want to do for dining. This is particularly important for your budget, and you will want reservations for a few of the meals as well.
    I know, it sounds like a lot. It really isn't. It is more steps on the planning process, and you don't have to take them all at once. If you let us help you, it can actually be fun!

    As for fun things on the first trip, if you can see each of the four parks, do it. As for reviewing resorts, go to the Walt Disney World website and go through the different classes. The pictures really do tell a thousand words!

    Have a magical vacation!
