Realistically how long does it take to get from park to park if you have the hopper and does it make sense to hop from one park to the other (ex. mk works best epcot or ak works best with hs for logistics, specifically time) I don't want to waste time

    Hi Kim,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!

One of my favorite tools is the My Disney Experience Mobile App. With the app, guests can check transit times between park locations and resorts. When I checked transit times between theme parks, the app estimated the following:
    • Magic Kingdom to Epcot via monorail, 38 minutes
    • Magic Kingdom to Disney's Animal Kingdom via bus, 37 minutes
    • Magic Kingdom to Disney's Hollywood Studios via bus, 39 minutes
    • Epcot to Disney's Animal Kingdom via bus, 55 minutes
    • Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios via bus, 65 minutes
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom to Disney's Hollywood Studios via bus, 40 minutes
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom to Epcot via bus, 54 minutes
Although we rarely park hop, when we do we spend the morning in one park, head back to the resort for pool time, then go to a different park at night. With our girls, we decided it was too exhausting to park hop between parks.

Consider the relatively new Express Transportation Option. With this option, you will get dropped off inside the main gate. Without the Express Transportation Option, you will need to exit the park, head to the bus or monorail station and wait in line for transport.

Remember that transit times can change depending on crowd levels. Also remember to review how to use Fast Pass+ when park hopping. You must book your first three Fast Pass+ selections at one park.

Kim, I hope you try Express Transportation. Time is precious and your vacation is waiting!
