    Marika from Victoria Asked

Hi there. I've been reading about VIP cleaning of resort rooms, do I just request this as part of my reservation and is there a charge associated? Many thanks Marika

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marika!

Our youngest daughter is one of the lucky kiddos to be born with allergies AND asthma, so I definitely understand wanting to have a VIP cleaning. I actually found out about this service haphazardly while staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge when my daughter was having a rough night with asthma. I called housekeeping and asked if I could have the room cleaned and vacuumed extra well as she was having a lot of asthma issues. This is when a friendly Cast Member told me about the VIP cleaning service, which is intended for Guests who are sensitive to allergens such as dust, like my daughter. As I was not aware of this service, I did not request it in advance, but I recommend that you do so by calling Disney Reservations and having it added to your reservation. If ever you do not call in advance, you can always request it upon check-in but there is no guarantee that they will be able to get to it on the first cleaning.

These special touches are what keep my family coming back to stay at Disney Resort hotels time after time! From Extra Magic Hours, to advance FastPass+ Reservations, there really is a world of benefits of staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and please come and see us again soon,
