I was reading about the princess promenade at the Grand Floridian. Will it possibly be going on in 2020?

Hi, Shannon! I absolutely adore your question and it has my younger daughter reminiscing this morning about her Princess Promenade experience last summer! This is such a magical event and I really hope your family is able to experience it next year during your Walt Disney World Resort visit. This magical moment is not an official and regularly scheduled event, so it does not appear on the resort's Experience Guide. However, I do know Cinderella and Prince Charming usually make their way down the gorgeous staircase in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa almost daily around 3:30 or 3:45 p.m. to join other tiny royalty who may be staying at the resort. It is a great time to get your tiny princess or prince dressed up in their finest and join in the promenade through the resort's lobby! Be sure to stop by the resort's Concierge to see if the Princess Promenade will be conducted at any time during your stay. As I mentioned, its schedule does change and you never know when the clock will strike midnight on this lovely affair!

To help your little one look their regal best, you may want to try for an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in either Magic Kingdom Park or Disney Springs. Several of the Walt Disney World Resort Salons and Spas at the resorts offer Character Couture Packages that feature Disney Princess and other character-inspired looks. For a full afternoon of magical fun, there is a Wonderland Tea Party in the resort, usually held just before the Princess Promenade. My daughters have gone to this event for many years to enjoy laughs, crafts, and a spot of tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter.

Thank you so much for stopping by with your question, Shannon. Please let us know if we can help you plan more of your pixie-dusted adventures!
