I was reading up on the annual passes and wanted to verify that if I purchase this year that I can wait and activate next August. I think I read I have until 2030 to actually activate the passes. Thank you in advance for all the help.

    Dear Michele,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

You are absolutely correct that you can purchase your Annual Pass today and refrain from activating it until you are ready to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I believe that the 2030 date still stands, but if you are planning to hold onto it for that long, I recommend calling Guest Services to double check. If you are planning to activate it in August, that should be no problem at all!

Hope that helps you with your magical planning! You are going to LOVE being a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder! There are so many great perks that come along with it!
