I read that you can Tour of the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Animal Kingdom). They have the largest collection of African Art outside of a museum, you can have a guided tour. Is this true and how does this work? How much $? Not staying at Animal Kingdom

As they say in Africa - Jambo Chris!
The Animal Kingdom Lodge is indeed home to a fascinating African Art collection; in fact it's the largest in whole of the United States and is definitely worth a special visit if you aren't already a guest staying at the Lodge.
The tour that you describe is a free self guided style one. Just by walking into the cathedral like lobby of Jambo House is alone enough to take your breath away.  The sights and sounds will immediately transport you to a wild and exotic land far, far away.... My personal favourite artefact is the hugely impressive 16 foot high African mask which acts as a colourful centrepiece, it truly is quite stunning.
After touring both Jambo House and Kidani Village you should also visit Zawadi Marketplace where you can purchase genuine African arts and crafts to take home with you as an original souvenir of your very own African arts safari!
    Have a great Disney day!
