Hi! I've read many times about starting to call at 7a.m. to begin making dining reservations for hot spots 180 days in advance. Is 7 a.m. the time you begin making fast pass reservations 60 days in advance as well? Thanks!

    Hi Keri,

If you are anything like me, the next best thing to actually being at Walt Disney World Resort is planning a Disney vacation! Two of the more important planning details in the lead up to any Walt Disney World Resort vacation is securing advance dining reservations and FastPass+ selections.

Securing dining reservations will come first as your booking window opens 180 days in advance. If you happen to be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will have the added advantage of being able to book dining reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting 180 days prior to your Resort check-in. This is a great advantage when it comes time to book those sought-after reservations at places like Be Our Guest Restaurant or 'Ohana.

While you are correct that Disney Dining Reservations, which can be reached at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463, opens each day at 7 a.m. Eastern, I would recommend that you instead make your Disney Dining Reservations Online as the booking window opens an hour earlier at 6 a.m.

Your next important step will be securing FastPass+ selections. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can start making selections 60 days in advance of your Resort check-in for your entire length of stay.  Otherwise, the booking window opens 30 days in advance. On the appointed day, you can start making your FastPass+ selections starting at 7 a.m.

Keri, be sure to diarize those dates, and all the best as you continue planning your magical vacation!
