I read that if you are staying at a Disney resort and purchased the dining plan, you are able to make reservations 190 day in advance. Is that correct?

Hi, Cindy! Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your delicious question! There are several key dates to mark in your calendar when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, such as the fun day you can begin making FastPass+ selections, the day you can complete Online Check-In, and the day you mentioned - the one on which you can reserve a spot at your family's favorite Table Service Restaurants.

The day you can begin making those Advance Dining Reservations actually begins 180 days before your Resort hotel check-in date. As a benefit afforded to Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you will be able to make Advance Dining Reservations for up to 10 days of your stay, no matter if you have added a Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package or not. In order to do this, you will need to make sure you have linked your Resort hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account so that the system recognizes your eligibility for this wonderful benefit. Around 6:00 a.m., the dates that you will be staying in a Resort hotel will begin to show dining availability online for you. However, that sneaky Stitch does run rampant occasionally through the website and Guests have difficulty making online reservations. This did happen to me last year, and I had to call in to have a Cast Member help me complete my Advance Dining Reservations. This was no big deal as I was still able to secure a table at the times I wanted for even some very hard-to-get dining locations. If you do need assistance making your reservations, the phone lines at (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 393-3463, open at 7:00 a.m.

So, Cindy, do you have your list of top dining choices ready? Please stop by again if you would like to discuss some delicious restaurants to consider!
