I've read on another site that Disney has cut back on the number of busses that are running due to the high price of gas. Is this true? Kimberly, what was your experience on your recent trip? Thank you for your help! 13 days & counting!

The buses seemed to be readily available in the morning and then at park closing. My Mom stayed at Pop Century and experienced crowded buses at these times of day requiring some passengers to stand up for the duration of the ride. I've never been fond of this type of herding. I like a less chaotic experience to begin and end my days.

I'm not a great source for bus information because I'm honestly just not fond of them. Typically we have our own vehicle (we've driven many times from Pennsylvania) and when we fly, we rent a car for all or part of our stay.

My observations were that the buses for the deluxe resorts came around infrequently. My son and I waited one day at the Animal Kingdom for a bus to the Grand Floridian for over a half hour. Our family waited about 25 minutes at Epcot for a return trip to Saratoga Springs. While we waited 2 buses came and went for the Swan and Dolphin resorts. There seemed to be no "schedule" which I found frustrating.

I also found it frustrating that once the bus did arrive, only 3-5 people were on board for the trip and the bus still stopped at every resort on its itinerary.

    Enjoy your vacation!!
