I’ve read on your site that I can’t use my dining plan credit to pay for someone not on my reservation. But there are 13 of us intraveling together on 4 reservations. Does that mean at every meal we have to get 4 separate checks and everyone pay separately

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eric!

I love using the Disney Dining Plan when I'm on vacation with my family, and when you're visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your large party, you're going to love how easy and convenient it is to let everyone order what they want and just tap your MagicBand when the bill comes!

When you use the Dining Plan your credits are allocated to you when you check in and you're able to use them whenever you want throughout your stay. Everyone who is staying in the same Resort Hotel room shares the same pool of credits, so if you are dining together at a Table-Service restaurant with your whole group of 13 people, the easiest thing to do would be to split the check so that each room pays separately. That way you can make sure that the correct amount of credits get deducted from the correct people, and everyone gets to enjoy the right number of meals and snacks! There should be no complications doing this, and the Cast Member serving you should be able to make it happen quickly and easily.

Dining with a large group is so much fun, and there are some restaurants that have an atmosphere that is perfect for bigger parties. You should consider a delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style meal at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or a fantastic buffet breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Boma - Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    Have a magical day, Eric!
