Bikes at the Boardwalk

I read that parking is free at Disney Resorts and Parks if staying on Disney Property. Can I park at any hotel and travel to a park from there? If I want to walk around Boardwalk before a dining reservation in Epcot can I leave my car at Boardwalk?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Candice!

Thanks for bringing us this great question! You are correct. Parking is complimentary at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels for all guests. And if you are staying at a hotel on property, you will have complimentary parking to the theme parks as well. One of the many perks of staying on site!

One of my favorite things to do on my non-park days during my WDW vacations is select a resort to visit and explore. Disney resort hotels are each so uniquely themed and have so much to offer, it’s always so fun to visit. But I must warn you, these visits might produce dreams of future trips even while on vacation!

Candice, while you are welcome to park and enjoy the resort hotels throughout property, there is a 3-hour time limit on parking. So, I wouldn’t suggest parking at Disney's BoardWalk if you are planning on visiting Epcot. There is so much to see and do at Disney's BoardWalk alone, that you would probably use up that time in just that visit and you really don’t want to feel rushed when you are on vacation. While you’re visiting Disney's BoardWalk, be sure to stop by my favorite Ice Cream shop on property, Ample Hills Creamery. The ooey, gooey cake on the massive and scrumptious Sunday is beyond yummy! Afterwards, a surrey bike ride is the perfect ending to a super fun visit!

I hope you enjoy your time exploring and visiting. Please do come back and see us again soon!
