HI! I read online today that BE OUR GUEST is now taking reservations for lunch if I go to My Disney Experience. I tried but it only allows selections in the dinner time slot. Any advice? Do I have to call since it's a new policy? (Trip is in April)

Hi Laney! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question!

Be Our Guest Restaurant is a unique dining experience that has been very popular with Guests. From its fresh take on French cuisine, to the amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you've stepped right into Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," it's unlike anything else in the Walt Disney World Resort.

Over the last several months, Disney conducted a test program that allowed some Guests to choose a FastPass+ window to experience Be Our Guest for lunch. As of February 2, that program has apparently ended. There's been a lot of discussion about what's coming next, and to be honest, none of us knows for sure. There hasn't been an official announcement yet from Disney. I've seen that there will be a new way to experience Be Our Guest coming on February 25, so we'll have to wait a little while longer to find out just what it is. Just like the Beast himself, it's a little mysterious!

If you are able to get a dinner reservation, you might just want to go ahead and grab it if trying Be Our Guest is a priority for you.

In the meantime, I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates. I'm sure that whatever they're planning for Be Our Guest, you'll see it there.

Hang in there, Laney. We're all waiting to see what's next for one of our favorite new eateries!

    Have a magical day,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
