Hi! I've read online that you can substitute 1 adult counter service credit for 4 snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan. Is that correct? And if so, what is 1 child counter service credit equal to in snacks? Thinking of the Food & Wine Festival!

    Hi, Sharon!

From my experience, I have never been able to trade meals for snacks.  I have asked at several locations just to see what the answer would be, and it has always been a "no."   Now, I know there are guests out there who have been successful when asking, so it never hurts to ask at any location if you can make the swap.  The official word on this is that you cannot trade a Quick Service credit for snacks, but it never hurts to ask.

That said, you actually do get 2 snack items with your Quick Service credit.  You get your entree, beverage (snack item) and dessert (snack item) with each credit, so you can think of it that way!  And just for informational purposes, I want to add that adult and child Quick Service credits are not differentiated for tracking.  However, your child is supposed to order off a children's menu when available.

I'm sorry I do not have a better answer for you, but assume you will need to stick to the official rules, and if you find a Cast Member who is a bit more flexible with the plan, consider it a bonus!  Good luck!
