I've read that Mondays are usually the busiest day for MK. Do you think this will be true the week of Thanksgiving? I've made my plans thinking that the crowds will be at MK on Thanksgiving Day, but I'd like to change them now if that's not the case.

You are wise to plan for the busy Thanksgiving week. It's probably among the top 3 busiest weeks of the year at WDW.

If I were going during this holiday week, I would visit the Magic Kingdom in the morning on Sunday (avoiding the late afternoon/evening as guests will be arriving for Extra Magic Hours) and then visit another park.

Wednesday would be your ideal day to tour the Magic Kingdom all day and evening. Most guests will be holding out to go there on the actual holiday. (Tuesday would be okay but  not as good as Wednesday.)

AVOID the Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving Day. Don't spend your precious vacation time waiting in extremely long lines. Instead, visit any of the above suggestions or go on Friday. The Magic Kingdom can be delightful the day AFTER the holiday crowd is there.

I would avoid Monday and Saturday because there are so many better choices for this week.

Yes the crowds will be at the MK on Thanksgiving. Happy planning!
