I read that after March Disney is going to start charging hotel guests a parking fee. Is this included in the price or do we pay after once we are at the hotel?

    Hi Jonni,

I hope you're getting excited for your upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! Between the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, mild temperatures, moderate crowds, and all of the pretty fall decor, you'll be visiting at a wonderful time of year!

Yes, you are correct that for any Disney Resort hotel reservations made after March 21, 2018, a standard overnight self-parking fee will be added to your bill when you check out. You won't need to do anything; it will simply show up as a line-item charge, just like your Dole Whips at Aloha Isle, Mickey Ears from the Emporium, and all of your other magical purchases will! As always, if you have any questions about any of the charges on your bill, please feel free to chat with a Cast Member at the front desk.

I'm happy to let you know that all Disney Resort hotel Guests will still receive complimentary parking at all of the theme parks, so if you'd like to drive your own vehicle to the theme parks for your days of magic and fun, you're welcome to without any additional charges! You'll also be able to enjoy all of the complimentary resort transportation options, including magical monorail experiences, peaceful boat trips, and relaxing bus rides if you'd prefer that someone else does all of the driving while you're on your vacation!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jonni, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. Have a truly magical vacation!
