I read a lot about needing non park days in the middle of a trip. We have five day base ticket for parks five days straight. I have a 14 and 5yo. Do you think we will be able to do this. We do have 1 nonpark at end of trip.

    Hey Jennifer!

Thanks for popping in to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have a 5-year old too so I think I can help!

As many times as I've traveled to Walt Disney World Resort, I've never had a non park day in the middle of my trip. My children have been when they were as young as 12 months old and even then we never stopped for a day! The important thing to remember is to pace yourself and don't try to overdo it each day and you will be fine. We always try to get an early start and then take a break after lunch. We either go to the pool for a bit or take a little nap in our room. This gives us just enough rest to recharge and head back out for dinner and the fireworks. I feel sure that you'll enjoy that non park day at the end of your trip though!

I hope you figure out what works best for your family and you have a truly magical vacation. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask us.

    Happy planning!
