I have read that guests using rider switch can possibly double up their fastpass+ if you work it correctly. We have 6 adults with a 2 year old. Can we get fastpasses for 3 adults and use rider swap for the other 3 adults when the toddler can't ride?

    ChEARs Chris!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are about to have a magical adventure at Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many exciting things happening right now, you are just in time for the brand-new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is just around the corner.

Rider Switch is a fantastic service designed to allow families with multiple ages to enjoy the Parks. It enables Guests to ride an attraction that little ones might be too small for and then gives the waiting adult(s) the chance to skip the standby queue. Unfortunately, your plan for doubling up on Fastpasses will not work. Each person entering the FastPass+ line must have a FastPass+ reservation.

So, in your case, if three adults want to go through the standby line, they can talk with a Cast Member at the front to get a Rider Switch ticket for the remaining three adults. Then “group B” can skip the standby queue. Honestly, this might work out great for you all! Each of the six adults can make FastPass+ reservations (60 days before your visit if you are a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, or 30 days if not), and then you can also use Rider Switch to supplement your FastPass+ selections. That way, each of the adults should be able to bypass the standby line at least four times, if not more!

Chris, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. We are all EARs!
