I read that you can make dining reservations for up to 10 days at the 180 day mark. I am staying for two weeks. Does that mean I will have to do dining reservations twice, one for the first 10 days and then the remaining days later? I like to plan early.

    Hi Betty!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Yes, it is correct that dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance, +10 days.  Coming from the UK myself, and often staying for more than 2 weeks, I am used to making my reservations for the first 10 days of our trip, and thereafter one day at a time. So the day after your 180 day mark, you can make one more booking for the 11th day of your trip, and so on.  The advantage of this is if you are trying to secure one of the more popular locations - go to days 8, 9 and 10 first and book those.  Restaurants such as Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest Restaurant (at Magic Kingdom Park) and Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White (at Disney's Wilderness Lodge), and most character dining locations will book up quickly, so if you have an interest in any of those you may have more success when booking further ahead.

It is worth noting that dining reservations are recommended for all Table-Service locations and can be made online, or by using your My Disney Experience mobile app.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
