read your column every day. DH and I are 'super seniors' arriving 1st wk of march. have seen all shows except outdoor luau. is dinner seating outside? how 'iffy' is the weather then? will we stand out in the crowd without children?

    Hi there Sandra!

I love your description of yourself and fun-loving hubby!  My family and I just returned from our most recent Disney adventure, and included a visit to the Spirit of Aloha Show on this itinerary.  It was a wonderful evening.  I think it would make a great addition to your March trip.  The show is held in an outdoor, covered pavillion, "The Luau Cove" (weather-permitting).  I think March is a great time to see it.  In fact, my only complaint this trip (mid-August) was that it was quite warm, even at the later show.  The food is served family-style, and includes pineapple-coconut bread (super yummy), tropical salad, ribs, baked chicken, rice and veggies, and a delicious chocolate volcano dessert.  Soft drinks, wine and beer are also included.  While dining you'll be entertained by traditional Polynesian dancers, music and an unbelievable "fire-eater" that had the audience mesmerized!

I noticed many couples and adults enjoying the show "sans kids", and don't think you will feel uncomfortable attending with your hubby at all.  As for the weather in March, highs tend to be in the 70's and lows are in the 50's, so I would recommend a light sweater or jacket in case you get a chilly evening.

    Have a wonderful time!
