I read there are cabanas on Castaway Cays, how can I reserve one? Also, doing the Stingray snorkeling @ 2:45p, can we get the use of the snorkeling gear before our appointed time?

    Ahoy, Rosa!

Thanks for stopping by with your question about Castaway Cay - Disney Cruise Line's private island. It's my favorite spot in all the world! Not only is there a gorgeous beach and lots to do, but the island is staffed with Disney Cruise Line cast members that provide the incredible Disney customer service you've come to expect.

The private cabanas on Castaway Cay can be a tough reservation to secure, and book extremely quickly. Concierge guests and certain Castaway Club members (repeat cruisers) are able to book up to 120 days in advance, and are some of the first to reserve these exclusive getaways. If you're not able to reserve a cabana before your cruise, I encourage you to keep checking back. Reservations can be cancelled up to three days before your sail date, and one just might become available! The Port Adventures desk onboard is also a good place to ask about last-minute availability.

If you'd like to snorkel in the Snorkel Lagoon before checking in for your Port Adventure at Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure, you'll need to rent snorkel equipment separately. The stingray lagoon is reserved for use of guests participating in the stingray adventure only. If you'd like to snorkel in both lagoons, you might want to check out the Extreme Getaway Package, a four-in-one package which includes snorkel equipment, float or tube rental, one-hour bicycle rental and Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure! My family loves to take a bicycle tour of the beautiful island - it's a great way to work off the calories from all the delicious food on the ship!

I hope this helps! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
