I read that there will be block out dates for Disneyland in June due to the new Star Wars Land opening. If we are staying at the Disney resort and buy tickets in advance, will we still be able to enter the parks? It's why we are making the trip to CA!

    Greetings, Stacy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Aboard a recent flight of Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, I loved catching a glimpse of the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. Imagineers are also working hard at recreating that experience right behind the berm of the Disneyland Railroad. Even though we have not yet heard an announcement for the official opening date of this incredible expansion of Disneyland Park, it is so exciting to anticipate the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge this summer! I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates.

While it is correct that certain Disneyland Resort Annual Passports have blockout dates on some days during June 2019, regular, unexpired park tickets are not subject to blockout dates. In fact, regular-priced park tickets purchased from the Disneyland Resort website now don't expire until the end of the 2020 or later!

It's great that you are staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. You'll love the benefits available exclusively to on-site guests. I also recommend purchasing the Disney MaxPass with your tickets to maximize your vacation time even more!

May the Force be with you, Stacy
