I have read articles saying it is cheaper to take a room only deal and then book the dining plan and tickets seperately. Can you give me some insight?

Hi, Charlene! Unless you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, you cannot purchase a Disney Dining Plan outside a package (which must include Resort accommodations and Theme Park tickets).  You can go back and modify a room-only reservation and add tickets and a dining plan to your existing reservation, but you would forfeit the room-only discount. If you decide to add them, you need to do so before you arrive. Guests cannot add the Disney Dining Plans to their reservation upon check-in.  Any Disney Dining Plan can be added up to three days prior to your arrival date.  So, if you want to add a Dining Plan, you must do so three or more days BEFORE your check-in date.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
