Epcot and monorail at night

Hello!! I just had to re schedule my trip too June due to the park closures. Is it worth it to go to Epcot or do you think the construction will be too much to enjoy it.

    Hi Courtney,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy to hear that you were able to reschedule your trip! We have taken several trips in June and loved them. Just be sure to prepare for the warm weather!

Although the transformation at EPCOT may be exciting, I realize that it could also be daunting. I would still make plans to visit, mostly because we are hoping that the new Space 220 restaurant will be open by that time. The thought of dining among the stars gives me so much joy because I have always had a fascination with space travel (without the death-defying part)!

Since I love to plan with a purpose, I suggest coordinating your astronaut training plan. First, grab your mission briefing and practice some preliminary flight skills on Soarin' Around the World. Make sure little aviators meet the height requirement. Next, select your mission level for Mission: SPACE. On our last visit, we chose the Orange Mission. I survived, barely. Finally, make sure you have secured an advanced dining reservation for Space 220. Head there after your completed flight training and share tales of your amazing adventures.

Courtney, my family loves ending the day at any park with a nighttime show. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see how we are Getting Ready for 'Harmonius' at EPCOT. Since we are not yet sure of the show's debut date, EPCOT Forever is also a lovely way to end the day at EPCOT. The storytelling, the kites, the music all make my heart happy. As your trip dates get closer, be sure to check the Walt Disney World Resort site and Disney Parks Blog for transformation updates.

Sending you lots of pixie dust as we hope for a great big beautiful tomorrow!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
