When will the 2017 rates be released? I want to book for Feb 2017. I want to make sure I'm within my 180 window for reservation & such!

    Hi Maggie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are undoubtedly a planner after my own heart!

I can completely understand your eagerness to book that unforgettable Disney vacation. However, if your wish is to book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, you'll have to wait until the 2017 package pricing is officially announced. Historically resort room and package rates have been released in the summer for the following year. Therefore, you may expect the 2017 package prices to come out sometime this summer. So be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the official announcement.

Let me offer another suggestion, book a room-only reservation today by calling Disney at (407) WDW-DISNEY or (407) 939-7639. Accommodations at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels can be made up to 499 days in advance of your intended checkout date. If you secure a reservation today, they will charge you for a single night based on this year's rate. After the package pricing is officially announced, you may convert your room-only reservation into a Magic Your Way Vacation Package reservation. Don't forget to look at the Special Offers page too. If a better discount comes along, simply call Disney to change your package reservation, based on availability, to the offer that best fits your budget.

I hope this helps, Maggie. Please write back with more questions as you continue to plan your family's February 2017 vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.
