Father and Child on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

After a rainstorm what is the average wait time before a ride is reopened? For example if we are walking around magic kingdom and rains and we head over to the seven dwarves mine train to be the first in line after it reopens how long do you think it take

    Hi Keith!

That's a really good question and a tough one to answer, simply because it varies so widely whenever inclement weather is involved. The fine people at Disney always place safety as Priority #1 when it comes to attractions and inclement weather. They want to ensure not only that their guests are safe, but the Cast Members as well who happily serve guests in the theme parks every day. There are so many different variables that come with a storm: How heavy is the rain and how long is it anticipated to last? How high are the winds when it's raining both during and after the storm? Is there lightning involved, etc.? Our family have been caught in many a rainstorm at the parks, and depending on its strength and duration, attractions can start back up within 15-30 minutes, and sometimes hours, depending on length and severity.

Due to acts of nature and its unpredictability, it's hard to offer an estimated wait time for park attractions.

However, we thank you for your question!
