How much are the rain ponchos that are sold in the park? Thanks.

Hiya, Kim, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We have been experiencing some rainy days at the Disneyland Resort recently, so this is a great question! Currently, adult ponchos are sold in the Disneyland Resort theme parks for $12, and children’s ponchos are sold for $10. If you have an Annual Passport, your discount will apply. During my last visit to the parks, I also discovered a compact black umbrella being sold alongside the ponchos, for the current price of $17.23. Prices are subject to change without notice.

You should always be able to find these items at Rushin’ River Outfitters inside Disney California Adventure Park, since many Guests choose to gear up in a poncho before braving the nearby Grizzly River Run. Otherwise, many of the shops along Main Street, U.S.A. (inside Disneyland Park) and Buena Vista Street (inside Disney California Adventure Park) will also sell ponchos and umbrellas on rainy days in the parks.

Some of my favorite rainy day activities in the parks include visiting the Star Wars Launch Bay and The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, both in Disneyland Park. Sometimes, you’ll even find Characters available for meet-and-greets inside The Disneyland Story or Disney Gallery. I also recommend packing extra sets of clothes, especially socks, and storing them in a rental locker, just to be safe.

I hope this information helps you stay dry during your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
