Quick ? about the water parks. My daugter is 6 years old, 44 inches tall and is a pretty good swimmer. She would be too big for the kiddie area, so would there be enough for her to do at TL or BB or should we skip the water parks? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jill!

My youngest son, who is now 7, absolutely loved Typhoon Lagoon when he was 5 and continues to love it; it's a must do on every trip, even if the trip is in the winter!  That said, he can spend hours in the lazy river, which is a little too much time for me, so he might be unusual, especially since he likes to swim in it and not be lazy and ride a tube!  My recommendation is to plan on spending only half a day in the water park with a 6 year old.

By the way, both of my kids (the oldest is 12 years old) prefer Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach.  I do too, though I think a lot of guests, especially teenagers, prefer Blizzard Beach.  Typhoon Lagoon has a lot more shade because of its theming, so it's particularly nice on a hot summer day!

Have fun and write back if you have any more questions!
