What quick service restaurants are recommended in MK, AK and HS?? I have the character meals already reserved but want to plan on where to eat our quick service meals(lunch and/or dinner). Thanks!

    Hi Anna,
Planning meals at Walt Disney World is my favorite part of preparing for a trip. We've compiled a list of  favorite quick service restaurants over the years that I'm happy to share.

Magic Kingdom: Our long-time go-to is the Columbia Harbour House. I'm a fan of the Lighthouse Sandwich with hummus and vegetables and of the broccoli peppercorn salad with chicken. We like to sit upstairs near a window and watch people come and go from the Haunted Mansion.

If you haven't made dinner reservations at the new Be Our Guest, I highly recommend it for lunch. The food is among the best quick service in Disney, and the decor transports you to the Beast's castle.

If you have a family of hot dog lovers, check out Casey's Corner. The one covered in pulled pork and slaw is as big as your head.

Hollywood Studios:The Studio Catering Company has interesting, sharable sandwiches, and it's adjacent to the Studio Catering Company Canteen, in case the grown-ups need an adult beverage.

The attraction at Pizza Planet isn't so much the food as the atmosphere. Eating inside the restaurant from the Toy Story movie can be a kick, especially for kids.

Fairfax Fare has chicken and ribs. The Fairfax salad has nice roasted corn and a jalapeno dressing. And it's the only place I know where you can get macaroni and cheese on your hot dog.

Animal Kingdom: I hate to say this, but we seldom eat lunch at Animal Kingdom. If we do, we choose the Flame Tree Barbeque, but none of the quick service options is high on our list.

We usually snack from the kiosks, where you can find summer rolls in Asia; a pulled pork or chicken salad sandwich or a quinoa salad in Africa; and egg rolls, turkey legs and other snacks throughout the park.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. Enjoy your Disney time with your family!
