We have the quick service plan for 2018, am trying to find out the cost to upgrade to the next level plan to see if it is worth it for the character meals or pay for them separately. Does anyone know?

Hello Alison and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's always a great pleasure for me to assist a fellow Guest from the United Kingdom with their jolly holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
I can just imagine how excited you must be already feeling for your upcoming July 2018 Disney summer holiday and I must say you've made a super choice by considering the upgrade from your current 2018 Quick Service Dining Plan to another of the great value for money Disney Dining Plans.
I'm happy to share with you that in my own past experience of upgrading from the Quick Service to the Disney Dining Plan I spoke with a knowledgable Cast Member by dialling the UK freephone number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory who was able to best advise on the current pricing to upgrade and of course was able to take payment once I had fully discussed all my dining options. Top tip - before calling be sure to have close to hand your Disney Resort Hotel booking confirmation numbers and so on.
It may be useful to know that during our Disney trips my family truly loves to enjoy Character Dining and Dinner Shows and upgrading to the Disney Dining Plan certainly made it more affordable for us.
    Have a great Disney day.
    ~ Jane
