I have the quick service dining plan for my upcoming trip. I really don't care for dessert at every meal. Is it possible to trade the dessert for a snack credit ? I read somewhere that this was possible but wanted to verify it before I left. Thanks.

    Hi Lauren,

Oh, wow, your vacation is just a few days away. Are you all packed and ready to start your magical time at Walt Disney World Resort?

September is a great time to visit the Resort. Two cannot-miss experiences await you. Mickey and his friends get ready to trick-or-treat in Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, happening on select nights in Magic Kingdom Park until the end of October. Get your tickets early, as this event tends to sell out. Another must-see is Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Food, drinks and music from around the world await you, so definitely something to enjoy.

Some guests may not have a sweet tooth, therefore when you redeem a meal entitlement, you are allowed to make some substitutions. For example, at a Quick-Service meal, many times I substitute the dessert for a bottled water. This must be done in the same transaction however, so just let them know when you place your order. I do have a sweet tooth, but I prefer a Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar in the afternoon, and that's what I usually use my Snack credits on.

One last tip: Beast invites all Guests to enjoy a nice meal in Be Our Guest Restaurant. But during breakfast and dinner, it is opened as a Quick-Service venue and even advanced reservations are available. Use the My Disney Experience mobile app to see if there are any last minute cancelations. See you real soon!
