How does the quick service child credits work? If there is no kids meals available, can we order an adults meal and take it off the child's credit? On the receipt detailing credits left, are the qs credits kids and adults separated or all together?

    Hi, Andrew!

Using your Quick Service Dining Plan credits could not be easier. Adult and child entitlements are not separated out, so kids ages 3-9 are welcome to order from either menu at Quick Service locations. At the bottom of your receipt, your remaining credits will be listed so you can easily keep track.

While kids can order from either menu at Quick Service locations, they must order from a kids menu at Table Service restaurants. At buffets or family style dining, they can choose whatever they wish, so the all-you-care-to-enjoy locations are usually a nice choice when you have kids who like to try new things or have big appetites!

When dining at Quick Service locations, portions can be quite large, so you may want to share at times. Order a large size soft drink with your meal (included with the Dining Plan), and ask for an extra cup with ice. Certainly enough to share, especially if you have young kids. Cups of ice water are complimentary, so you may want to ask for water for an extra drink.

While desserts are not included with your Quick Service meal, each guest on the Quick Service Dining Plan receives 2 Snack Credits per night of your stay. These can be ordered at Quick Service locations when dining, or saved for a  mid-day snack, whichever you choose. I like to use one of my snack credits for a bagel in the morning. I use my refillable drink mug for coffee or hot chocolate and I have a quick and easy breakfast, all for just one Snack Credit!

If you are a bit creative with your Quick Service credits, you can really get a lot of value from the plan. For example, if getting lunch at your resort, use your mug for your complimentary soft drink, then get a milk, juice or bottled water that you can put in your room's refrigerator to enjoy later. Little tricks like this can add up with the savings.

Have fun dining at all the great Quick Service locations in Walt Disney World!
