I have 2 questions- Are all the shuttles from the resorts to the wheelchair accessible or is something like every 3rd one type thing? I am going to get a Disabled Access pass at the parks. Do I still set-up Fast Pass?

Hiya, pal! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Randall. I’m glad you’re hEAR! The Walt Disney World Resort transportation system is very reliable and offers guests of all kinds safe and comfortable travel to the Parks.

You’ll find that all Walt Disney World Resort shuttle buses are equipped to handle wheelchairs of many types. At each bus stop, there is a separate queue for you and your family to wait in, typically marked with the wheelchair logo on the ground. They will load this line first, before the rest of the bus and then you will be disembarked after the bulk of the passengers clear at the destination. This allows more movement within the bus. If you would like to take Disney’s Magical Express from MCO Orlando airport to your Resort Hotel, please note this in your Magical Express Reservation. It will help expedite your trip in style. Lastly, you can put your mind at ease knowing the monorails are wheelchair accessible as are some of the larger watercrafts in the lakes. As for your DAS pass and FastPass+ reservations, making those 3-per-day reservations will only speed up your fun. The DAS pass will assist you in your needs, but will not restrict you from booking those in advance, up to 60 days in advance of your vacation. I would visit the attraction you want to use the DAS with first, be assigned a return time and then next, use a FP+ reservation with your family.

If I can help you and your family find more fun on your magical vacation, please let me now. As Tigger says, “TTFN, Ta Ta For Now!” ~ Lindsey P.
